What to expect
Find out what it's like to work with us! We've shared our detailed process, so you know what's ahead for your brand or web project.
All of our projects start at the same place: the Estimate and the Kickoff.
The Estimate
After you get in touch with us, we will schedule a time for a video call to talk about your vision, goals, timeline, and budget, and make sure both of our teams feel like we are the right fit for the project.
If you decide you would like to move forward, we will email you an estimate (usually within a week) for the full cost of completing the work, and a project scope that clearly defines deliverables.
If the estimate and scope of work looks good to your team, we will send the project deposit invoice and contract. After you pay and sign, our team will schedule a kickoff meeting with all project stakeholders.
The Kickoff
During the kickoff meeting, we will review a tailored mood board we put together for your project that shows inspiration and establishes a design direction. We often look at design examples that your team likes during the Vision portion of our initial call, but this is another opportunity for you to show us other designs you like, before we start on the work.
We will also go over a detailed project timeline and the expectations and deadlines for both of our teams. This is a great time to discuss if any project stakeholders will be out of town during client review periods, so we can plan accordingly.
The Design
During this phase, you may not hear from us much, but we are busy coming up with concept logos for your company. We start by sketching out some ideas, then taking them into our design software to create a more polished version to show your team.
The Demo
The demo is a 30-60 minute meeting to review our designs. We will talk through several distinct logo concepts and color palettes we have created for your brand, and our inspiration behind them. Sometimes there is a clear winner and your team can pick which one they like best in this meeting. However, some clients prefer to show the concepts to their team and get feedback.
The Review
You can have as much time to review the options as you need, but clients often provide feedback on their chosen logo direction within a few days (if not within the demo meeting itself).
The Finesse
Once we get your feedback, we will perfect the winning design and send the finalized version to you for final approval.
The Finished Product
After your team signs off on the final logo design and colors, we build out the broader visual identity around the logo, such as any iconography, photography recommendations, and typeface selections. We package this information together within your \ style guide, and export all logo and graphic files.
Your final brand book is a zipped folder that includes your brand style guide, any graphics we created as a part of your brand, and your new logo in various layouts and colors, in every file format you may need to use in the future. It feels like a lot, but we like to be thorough! And you can also always reach out to use in the future if you have a designer or printer asking for file formats that weren't included in the original brand book.
